I think he will be turning in his grave at what is happening in Europe.

Interesting that the BBC have done a spotlight on him and not surprisingly, Barack Obama is a fanas he quoted him in his inauguration speech.

Is Thomas Paine on the school syllabus?

For anyone who is interested in social justice, his book "The Rights of Man" is essential reading.

Ooh, he used to work in the little Norfolk market town where I live, we're having a Thomas Paine festival all summer.

There's a funny little drawing of him on a wall in Lewes (where he lived for a while and wrote some of his stuff).
