Those are brilliant - the naked babies with mohicans riding carrots was my favourite - I might even commission one

Oh my god the baby shoved in the cake is so wrong but so funny, I am still laughing!

I think the hiatus between your op and the first response was due to several hundred MNetters doing this at the carrot babies and the pile-o-poo cake.

Brilliant link.

I love cakewrecks, I've got it on my favourites. On sundays they usually have genuinely good cakes (sunday sweets I think they call it) and recently there were some fantastic fantasy wedding cakes.

Fantastic!! Just about to get a cake for my DS's naming ceremony - think the babies riding carrots might do the trick!

Loved that link.

Have my own personal cake wrecking story. For DS2's christening I ordered a cake from Maison Blanc, with his name iced on (a very masculine name). The picture of the cake in the catalogue had white icing with brown writing and I assumed that was what I was getting. Went to collect the cake on the morning and it was ... completely pink (with his name on)!

Too late to get another cake done, but to give them some credit, I got it for free (saving £95) so I didn't mind too much. And everyone saw the funny side.
