I'm so glad that they got back together for the Live 8 concert - it was the best gig I've ever seen on TV.

Very sad news.

Agreed, R4, Live8 was a momentous occasion for all Floyd fans.

I was lucky enough to see him play, alongside Nick Mason, on David Gilmour's 2006 tour at the Albert Hall. Despite being a Roger short of the full set, they played the most breathtaking rendition of 'Echoes' - such a priviledge to be able to have heard this live.
