Which newspaper?

If you regularly read a British newspaper, which one?

Why would you want to know? Is this a survey?
My (extremely judgy) dps used to make a point of asking what paper any of my friends' parents read & would judge accordingly & usually unfairly. They would do the same today, you aren't my dm are you?

Not a survey and not a judgement. Wondering what the majority read, is all. Especially since I'm fairly new here. So I'm just gaging the room, which is usually very forthcoming!

Tbh I'm just fascinated by the hesitation and silence now!

Tbh we are sometimes a bit wary of norty journos trying to get an opinion piece out of "research" in Joey air quotes from us. Hence reticence.

I an partial to the Sunday Times but paper only, don't like it online.

How's that?

Aha! Yes I was confused I thought it was an innocent enough question and there are so many threads about upcoming elections and how people might vote, especially Scotland... but you're right I didn't even consider that journalists lurking on here could be an issue. Thanks for the enlightenment. I'm just an expat sahm!

I read guardian online because there is no paywall but it does infuriate me regularly 🙃

Mostly the Guardian but I also like the Independent. There's some good journalism at the Times and Sunday Times but I never buy them because I can't stand Rupert Murdoch.

I haven't a lot of money and no interest in following the markets, but I've found myself strangely drawn to the Financial Times over the last few years. It seems to be the only newspaper that sticks to facts rather than wild opinions.
