Do you think he really weighed 1lb 1oz or was a misprint? That is just sooooo weeny.
A friend of mine had a stillborn baby girl at 1lb 6 at 29weeks and she was absolutely tiny so can't imagine a smaller one....

Whoosh - well she was only 25 weeks pg so it sounds about right (and looking at the picture you can tell that he's tiny even now!)

Lovely but oh so very weeny- a lovely ending to the story

  • isn't abortion "legal" until 28wks?(and I am not,before I am attacked,criticising abortion-am pro choice,just chocked at 25wk survival)

me too mixedmama - I'll be 25wks when we fly to NY , it must be terrifying to be in that situation. so glad mum & baby are okay.

It is justs sureal though isnt it, I mean at 25 weeks a lot of the time the hospital are able to get this sort of result. Nothing short of amazing.
