Women in Scotland to be given free sanitary products (pilot scheme)

Scotland to give free sanitary products to women (Independent). It's a pilot scheme for low-income women in Aberdeen, but their going to be tabling a bill to extend it to all women, regardless of income, in Scotland. Considering the campaigning that has been done to remove VAT for so long, that has failed, I think that's fairly radical!
