I think it would be a good idea for us to be mentally prepared that something will happen. Kim Jong-un is not going to back down from his objective to build a nuclear weapon that can reach the US. No one is prepared to stop him bar the US and Trump is a fucking lunatic.

So if NK complete a nuclear test this weekend expect the US to retaliate.

NK has been a clusterfuck for a long time. Should have really been dealt with before they had the capacity to build warheads that could reach as far as they now can.

Well let's hope he gets the right country and bombs North Korea not South Korea. Where did we bomb before? Iraq? I mean Syria. I don't know but the chocolate cake was great.

I would love it if North and South Korea united like Germany did. I feel so sorry for the people there. Hope this doesn't fuck things up worse for them.

Can I ask what qualifies you to make such an alarmist statement?
Are you a war correspondent or an expert on international politics?

And how should we get "mentally prepared"?

Sending some ships doesn't mean they will attack, it's a reminder that they can.

The aim seems to be to pressure China into 'doing something' (always a dangerous phrase!) because I guess the US have no plan for what future N Korea (other than general aim of reunification) would be like; and so would want the process led by the regional powers.

The rhetoric about possible/likely future tests isn't actually that different from that used by previous presidents. It seems worse when it's Trump only because it is Trump IYSWIM.
