I seem to recall this being discussed at the time she made the allegations.

She has now been charged according to this report from the Huffington Post.

Don't know her back story but she obviously has some issues to make such an allegation and will hopefully get the help she needs.

Not allowed to talk about it.

Police have told people not to post anything online that might prejudice the court proceedings.
"Criminal proceedings have now commenced and the defendant has the right to a fair trial," a statement said.
"It is extremely important that there should be no reporting, commentary or sharing of information online which could in any way prejudice these proceedings."

Issues? Needs help? That's generous thinking at best. Personally I think she's an ill educated numb nut who wanted her 5 minutes in the spotlight and probably to sue Primark on the side. Serves her fucking well right.

Huh? We're allowed to post about it aren't we?

Best not to say anything.

Yes I am being generous and just trying to understand.I had dreadful PND and I suppose I am just wondering if she does too but in a different way.

Will say no more though if we are not supposed to discuss it.

Lesson in don't take a knee-jerk response to the news.

Not allowed to discuss this. Please be aware of legal implications.

I don't mind not being able to discuss this, but how come we are allowed to discuss other matters that are going through court? It's okay if its a celeb then I take it...?

The police have issued a statement covering why it's best not to discuss it online. It's on the other thread I think.

I read that, I don't understand why she's being protected and others aren't though.

But best do as they say.

The police have requested that people don't discuss online. As others have said MNHQ are deleting these threads for that reason.

I saw the original thing where she had a pop but what's happened since? Is there inference that the whole thing was made up?

Report
Glitteryarse · 28/07/2015 21:41

But They could say that about any case that being took to court. How strange

So what's the point of having a topic if we're not allowed to talk about it. Seems a bit pointless. Confused

It's just this case in particular it seems. Theres a really long thread on here that started the day it all erupted. It's nearly full so theres not much left to say.

I thought it was for jury members not to go looking for info, not that you couldn't discuss it. How strange.

Report
GraysAnalogy · 28/07/2015 21:55

I think it needs to be clarified, would be helpful if MNHQ could tell us what their stance is so we could avoid it in the future, prevent them from having to delete etc. Are we allowed to talk about current cases or not? I don't see why this woman is protected but no-one else is.

Sparklingbrook · 28/07/2015 21:56

Ask MNHQ?

Remember years ago there was a poster on here who said she'd been thrown off a bus for geese feeding, and she'd gone to the local press. Everyone was up in arms, and if turned out, frim cctv, that none of it had happened. I can't remember her name. It was very sad.
