criminals working in call centers

just seen this on AOL news, they are threatening the call centre staff to hand over private info its happeming allover the uk, im really shocked at this, no where is safe nowadays

I used to work for a well known insurance firm and up until 1991 we all had our own covernote book ( car insurance covernotes) and we were trusted with them.
Ever since that year the covernote books were restricted to the supervisors and when i left in 2002 there were at least 5 covernote book thefts caused by new employees who started work JUST to steal covernotes... unbelievable.
Its all now computerised now thank goodness, but several staff were threatened and told to give personall details, all investigated by the police and so far no more problems.
This was in Wales by the way.
