According to yesterday's daily mail, rumours abound that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes's baby doesn't really exist coz nobody has actually seen it!!!

Can't find the article in the on-line thingy though. Grrr.

Unfortunate heading, considering Thomcat has two beautiful girls.

Here is a very sarky article on the whole thing.

Daily Mail

you are quoting the daily mail as a source of 'news'

exactly!

Good point.... I should have posted a Mail article under 'comic books' not 'news articles

No wonder she gave birth silently. That pillow just slipped out so easily from under her jumper

There is an actual birth certificate though

sorry but i find it a little bit sad, annoying and irritating that a journo should be paid for that

Well, even the guardian a few weeks ago made allegations about the baby's existence.

So if the baby doesn't actually exsist...

wtf were they thinking?

Chuffin weirdos.

For goodness' sake!
reminds me of all those articles that used to be written about Michael Jackson's children, usually by disgruntled ex employees.

So theyve managed to keep the baby out of the public eye? well done them

absolutely. ok, so maybe tom isn't everybody's favourite celeb but i feel a bit sad for them. i hope they're finding it funny.

Oh come on, they live by the media, they die by the media. It's not like they're picking on "civilians", after all.

Is Tom Cruise a media manipulator?

I thought that his media exposure was just the natural result of him being mega rich and hte star of Top Gun.

Anyone famous must by definition have been in the tv/papers these days, but they still deserve a private life.

Well, he has PR staff. As do normal stars, I think.

The reason he seems like such a loon, relatively recently, is he fired his old PR (Pat Kingsley? I think?) and replaced her with some Scientology moron. So instead of having a smooth professional buffer between mad celebrity's mind and the media (as is the norm) he has a mad person serving as the buffer.

I think the media picking on him just isn't the same as the media picking on a person who isn't profiting from their fame.

Perhaps keeping his baby out of the limelight seems more attractive than the wholesale marketing of little Shiloh who now has her own wax model in Mme Tussauds (why, for goodness' sake???).

Hey, I thought the PR girl he fired was his sister... or perhaps she had some other title.

I imagine little suri will have a very pamperd life an luxury, and be just as wacko as her dad.

No, no, he replaced Pat Kingsley with his sister, you're right, but she's a scientologist too. I think he's fired his sister now, as well.

But the "Tom Cruise" is a nutjob thing became obvious when he fired Pat Kingsley.

oh so the baby hasn't been seen by the public yet so that must mean she doesn't exist? I find it quite sad that people feel the need to speculate about the lives of people who are in the public eye. Let's not forget that kh did actually have the baby in a hospital in the end, with an epidural, and given the name of said hospital was published in the media I'm sure they would have been quick to tell the media that kh had never actually been there. If they're keeping the baby out of the public eye then I say good on them. But tbh I can't see how they could create a whole sharade of a baby that didn't exist because they wouldn't be able to keep it up indefinitely, they would have nothing to gain by doing that, and everything to lose, esp their credibility.
