It's about time Kerry Katona had something to celebrate after the whole painful divorce thing.

And now, it seems she has.

The former Atomic Kitten is expecting a baby with fiance Mark Croft.

The Mirror reports Kerry, 25, as telling a friend: "I'm delighted we're having a baby... A baby boy would be perfect."

It's thought the baby is due next year.

She already has two daughters, Molly and Lilly-Sue, from her marriage to Brian McFadden of Westlife fame.

Kerry and Brian split in 2004 and Brian has since hooked up with Aussie star Delta Goodrem.

But Kerry was accused of jumping the gun when she got engaged to cabbie Mark just five weeks after they started seeing each other.

A friend said: "Kerry and Mark are very excited. They took a lot of stick after deciding to get married so quickly - and know some people will raise an eyebrow at this pregnancy.

"But the fact is they are very much together and this time next year they will be married with a baby."

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this the same Kerry Katonia who is in and out of rehab with a coke problem?

Even if the allegations are false she might want to take heed of the saying "Only fools rush in...."

She's on a path to self destruction if you ask me. Since she split with Brian she's leapt from bloke to bloke, showing them off in OK or whatever magazine will pay her. She's obviously got some self-esteem problems. I feel sorry for her two little girls and now a new baby will be coming into the world. I don't want to sound nasty but whats the odds on this relationship going the distance?

She is revolting. DH leaves the room whenever those adverts come on, he can't stomach her voice.

And she is gradually morphing into Julie Walters, which is alarming
