My wheelie bin needs tagging it's often seen trying to rob off licences late at night.

Where I live all wheelie bins are tagged by address and rubbish is charged by the weight. Now, that would encourage you to recycle wouldn´t it! (Believe me it does, rubbish is only taken every 2 weeks!)

Jeez!

We have 4 and there are other familes on our street who have more than 1 so I dread to think how much it would cost the council here!

We only have a collection every 2 weeks which is fine but I get Angry as we are the only family on our terrace, yet the others fill their bins then fly tip in ours. Theya re discussing making us pay per weight of rubbish.... why the Hell should we pay for theirs? But we don't know who does it and can't see the bin storage place from here.

Anyone know of a way to lock a large green wheelie bin?

If 5 of us just fills a bin every fortnight, how come 2 can fill one every few days? AND we have disposable nappies now (DS3 outgrew washables but not qute ready for training)

Grrrr.

Thats terrible PC!

I think you'd need to attach something on to the bin so that you culd tie a lock round it IYSWIM.

Other than that

a harsh word with fly tipping neighbours.
Cheeky sods!

we have 3 bins

one for recycling stuff (glass plastic and paper) that gets collected every week

one for garden and kitchen waste (dead plants and flowers, grass cuttings, veg and fruit peelings, teabags etc)

and one for everything else, that gets collected on alternate weeks with the garden and kitchen waste one

works out just fine, we are a family of 4

the garden and kitchen waste one gets taken away and made into compost that is used on the flower beds in the local parks, or instead you can ask the council for a compost bin and you can make your own compost for your own garden

PC - you can get lockable wheelies or buy a special lid lock.
