This poster was leaked yesterday. When i saw it i thought it was a joke or mock up. Apparently not.
So thats more paid jobs that wont be existing while HomeBase can get workers for free.

What the poster says to me is that the store managers are reluctant to participate in the programme and are having to be sold the idea. If you're managing a regular team in a store and some work-experience newbie comes in needing extra supervision and training, it's a PITA. They're not going to sack regular staff to make room...

They don't need to sack staff Cogito, they just cut hours down. That's the great thing about having flexible, zero hours contracts.

A lot of these workfare using companies no longer employ temporary staff because the get Workfare people instead.

Whilst people are on workfare they are not looking for a job and they are unlikely to get a job. Apart from the fact that they are not being paid even the minimum wage to do the job and taking hours of work from permanent staff - which is awful - the employer and the workfare staff are not making N.I contributions.

More profit for the private companies - who make their money from ordinary people, then less money for the people working for them who are probably on benefits because their wages are so low and they need top up benefits to survive.

Shall we talk about tax cuts for the rich now? M.P's expenses? Bankers bonuses?
