did anyone see this?
researching a book she spent some time at some state schools as she had no experience of them.all the kids mums were on drugs but the children were so brave and did really well-some even getting 5 gcses and then going on to learn to be hairdressers and builders.wonderful what poor people can do when they try really.

parp!

She's been flogging this round various newspapers --- think she must have a book coming out soon. Tis v. parpy, but I guess the idea that some state schools have (gasp) middle class kids whose (gasp) married parents want them to go to (gasp) university isn't that newsworthy.

JC has a very slappable face, somehow.

yes, someone needs to tell her Charles Dickens tried to do this years ago and it's still boring old tripe.

I like Jilly, but anyone who makes up a character like Rupert Cambell-Black is not in touch with reality. Allegedly, in case she is feeling libellous.

I only hope the designer flats built on the site of the Angel are ever more haunted by the weeping of children.

Mwah ha ha ha ha!

That's really annoyed me! Am a bit of a secret Jilly Cooper fan at heart Blush but not sure I could stomach her new book if it's written in that tone!!

"Beastly league tables" eh, could word it better than that!!!
