Just as I decided to stop worrying about these things... this appears

"Do you remember February 1993 when a young 3 yr old was taken from Liverpool, United Kingdom, by two 10-year-old boys. Jamie Bulger walked away from his mother for only a second and Jon Venables took his hand and led him out of the mall with his friend Robert Thompson.

They took Jamie on a walk for over 2 and a half miles, along the way stopping every now and again to torture the poor little boy who was crying constantly for his mummy.

Finally they stopped at a railway track where they brutally kicked him, threw stones at him, rubbed paint in his eyes and pushed batteries up his anus. It was actually worse than this. What these two boys did was so horrendous that Jamie's mother was forbidden to identify his body.

They then left his beaten small body on the tracks so a train could run him over to hide the mess they had created. These two boys, even being boys, understood what they did was wrong, hence trying to make it look like an accident.
This week Lady Justice Butler-Slosshas awarded the two boys anonymity for the rest of their lives when they leave custody with new identities.
They will also leave early this year only serving just over half of their sentence. They are being relocated to Australia to live out the rest of their lives. (didn't think we were a convict settlement anymore)

They disgustingly and violently took Jamie's life away - in return they each get a new life.

Please. If you feel as strongly as we do, that this is a grave miscarriage of justice, copy the entire email and paste into new email .....then add your name at the end, and send it to everyone you can!

Not to detract in any way from the pain Jamie Bulger's family felt and still feel to this day, that email is nothing more that spam and if I were you I would delete it!

If you really feel strongly what happened then research the facts of the case, which these people clearly haven't, and do something constructive.

It isn't this week, it was ages ago. The Australian bit sounds like embroidery to me. And it's a horrible chain email that should go straight into your trash. WTF is this email supposed to achieve, apart from upset and misinform people?

IIRC the reason they got a Mary Bell order was fear of vigliantes stoked up by the red-tops. Which is a real risk - look at the way the tabs hound whatersface from Soham.

they are always rumouring that they will locate them here in Perth. Of course they would not locate them in the same State let alone city.

Moreover, what has always troubled me about this case is the family environment these boys were brought up in. Surely just as worrying a factor as the boys themselves.

I have decided to do just that, consign it to the recycle bin. I am not sure what emailing every 500 people to Dame Busker Sloshed whatever will do.

I know that lots of people emailed about the 12 week old baby rape but not terribly sure if anything was done - but I do look every now & then.

Just for your information, I've just cut and pasted the link gtnet.gov.uk into Google and it's "Secure Internet Access for the Public Sector" - they'll take all the names, email addresses and anything else you feel enraged to provide them and use it against you at a later date, most notably in the form of spam.

UCM, the emails to the Attorney General did work - the case is being reviewed (I was georginars then, I started the thread). I know it was referred to a higher court and I think it's all sub judice at the moment, hence why we're not hearing much about it. So don't think it was a waste of time

That email campaign did work as it was individual, sensible emails acting on correct info and directed at an actual person who could do something, based on facts. What you've got is a rather sick spam email full of misinformation. Most emails which require you to copy and paste and send on to all and sundry are spam.

It was a sickening crime and it still distresses me now. However those boys were children and I dread to think of the life they'd lead to make them do this. They need to be protected now so that they can have some kind of life safe from vigilantes. It isn't as if they will ever be able to shed the memory and guilt of what they did.

OMG Bethron im crying my eyes out having read that. I have a 18mth old ds and my heart goes out to the mother. I was only 11 at time myself and remember how awful it was and how i even knew it was wrong-but ive only just read what they actually put that poor baby though. What sick evil bastards how on earth are they allowed to walk free. I didnt even know that they had actuallay planned to kidnap a baby that day and tried to do so with a little girl before her mother came along.Im so upset i never what my little boy to grow up its such an evil world.And that e-mails sick too.
