JK Rowling has launched a new site apparently named Pottermore- what will it be?

My money is on a theme park

or a potter encyclopaedia...

Sorry no - somehow it will involve parting with cash and spending it on an already overhyped, overblown series of books ...

They're going to break the masquerade ... it's all true ...

DD is very interested. She really wants to go the the theme park in the States.
We won't be going until I renew my passport to a chip and pin one.
Two years to go.

DD will be very excited when she sees it.

Kreecher - we are going to Universal to see the new Harry Potter land int he summer. DD is beside herself with excitement. We've done all the parks before but this is her big thing this time - we have to go there crack of dawn ont he very first day apparently!

Why do you think you need a chip and pin passport to go to the US? Admittedly the crowds at the theme park may have got to managable levels by then.

My bet is that Pottermore will be a big multiuser online game.

My money's on the encyclopaedia thing. She went apeshit when that website tried to publish one and said she was planning to do it some time.

Really pissed off by xiaoqkk, I thought it had proper info. DD is driving me bonkers because I don't know.
The chip and pin passport is so I don't have to apply for a visa before we go.
DH flew to the States a couple of years ago with an ordinary passport. He got turned away and had to make a dash to the british embassy in Geneva to get a new one.

Not sure about scanning it at gates.DH and DDs PPs have a little gold thing on the back page.
Mine doesn't and my photograph makes me look like Myra Hindley Sad

I heard on the radio this morning it is to find prizes around the country. Like a treasure hunt. Might be completely wrong through as I was battling with a 3 year old.

Annoucement now on BBC and twitter that this will be an interactive potter website, where you can get involved in the stories behind the stories - lookos good if you're a Potter fan (which I am :))

Bit pissed off though - why all the hype just to reveal what the flipping thing will be? So now, we have to wait until October? Arsebiscuits.
AND.... ANNNNDDDDD.... you have to spend money????? Seriously, does the woman NOT have enough money already? Angry Angry
(And yes, I have got my period, and I DO have PMT, BUT STILL!!!!)

I've had trouble submitting my email address, the site is always busy. Have finally done it today Grin

I've signed up, DD is too young to enjoy the whole HP experiance just yet, but I cannot wait to share them with her.

I have loved every book and every film, and am really sad it has come to an end.

Mamathululu u made i laaff - people are in counselling after the wrath of me in PMT MODE.
Jowlings said she would donate 60% of the profits to the NSPCC as she felt she had enough finances to last the next six generations of her blood line.
IMO the content is the sort of material that will give kids serial nightmares 4 the rest of their lives.
Should have an over 21s only censorship. Ds has not recovered from Gorma (badman) in 'Hercules'
Fantastic effects, locations concepts but not for my young sprogs yet!!
