Bleached Towels

My coloured towels all sooner or later develope bleached patches. I usually use bio powder for colours. What am I doing wrong - anyone else have this? Do I need to buy different powders? I usually just bung the towels in with whatever else is about.

Weird isn't it? I've often wondered what the hell causes it as I use non bio and certainly don't use bleach! And it is only ever towels.
