Integrated dishwasher query

Has anyone replaced a fully integrated dishwasher with a completely different (but still fully integrated) make? Our previous d/w is dead, but was crap so we would like to get a different make, but we are a bit worried that it won't fit properly in the hole, or the cabinet door won't sit properly. Has anyone got any advice?
Thanks in advance.

I believe all intergrated ones are the same size. If you've still got the instruction manual for your d/w, it should give you the dimentions and you can check that against a new one.

Alternatively, if you haven't, Google them!

We have had a semi-integrated non working one replaced yesterday hooray clever dh. My lovely mum took pity on us over Xmas and gave me £300 to get a new one and she even spotted one in the Comet sale. However- it was an integrated one(Hotpoint) reduced by £100 from £400(loves a bargain me) Had to fit in the space so the stand alone ones woulldn't fit. After humming and hawwing we took it. Clever dh has moved the door part up (bearing in mind it was 3/4 of the right height) and put a spare piece at the bottom and voila you wouldn't notice. And it's whizzing away as we speak

I've done this and they are much of a muchness size wise. If you buy from Comet they install for you.(Not cheaply though)

Yes replaced a crappy one with a lovely bosch

The new integrated one will come with a paper template of where to put your screws. As you are binning out the old one just undo all the screws that look like they may go into your current door.

We had to remove the kick board underneath just to make it easier to get in. Don't forget to attach it upwards to the worktop (all instructions will be there)

Sorry for late reply, but have been away. Thanks everyone for the responses - looks like it will be ok.
Would love a Bosch Fizzy, or a Miele one.
