Watermarks on shower screen how to get rid??

Title says it all really - our shower screen (glass) and taps are covered in water marks and I can't get them off!!

Help!

Some Viakal spray, or Mr Muscle bathroom cleaner. I think they also do a spray that you're supposed to keep in the shower for this very purpose.

White vinegar and elbow grease, and then yes, there's an arm & Hammer spray they do
I think the hotels use squeegees every day to prevent it

Yep - second the Viakal suggestion. Though would go for the bottle rather than spray if the watermarks are really tough as it's more concentrated.

I live in a really hard water area and swear by it. Just wipe on with damp cloth and leave for a few minutes, then rinse... you will be amazed

Brill thanks all - we normally use a squeegy thing and white vinegar but we have had a lot on and let it slip and now it's awful.

Just one question what the heck is Viakal?

Waitrose used to sell some strong limescale remover stuff in a squirty white bottle with a silver cap (sorry can't be more specific - my local have stopped stocking it ) that eats through limescale better than Viakal etc.

Apply by squirting and use a damp sponge to spread, leave for 5 mintues and squeegee off.

I don't know if it's good for the glass, but as a once-off, the best thing I've used to get rid of stubborn limescale was sugar soap wipes (from B&Q). I used that for the first proper clean in years and now use supermarket sprays once a week.

I use window cleaner and a little bit of fairy...works a treat.
If it's a severe case you could try the washer fluid that you use for your car windscreen. V. effective.
