Not sure what to do today. Ds needs to be picked up from school have lunch and taken to his new school. Then from there I'll give him tea at home then drive over to friend to babysit with DS. Put them to bed then bundle Ds up when friends get home and drive home. Cross fingers that DH is at home so he can carry DS straight to bed! Must tell DH not to over do it. Unlikely
Already done
Made beds
D/W unloaded and re loaded
Right to do today
Put some washing on
Have shower, didn't do that this morning
I think I'll look at my Christmas control journal and figure some stuff out like menu for various days during the holidays & a calendar of events maybe.

StAnne I was thinking that recently. If I had another child ( highly unlikely ), then I'd be mistaken for the child's grandmother throughout it's childhood. I'm sure you look fine!

swan Go and sit in the corner for 2 minutes for mentioning stollen! I need to buy some at the next Farmers' Market which is on the 19th. I didn't have time to buy some at the last FM as ds (who I'd taken into town to have his eyes tested) was very anxious to get back to the charities fair to put on his FC costume and carry on with his duties.

I am on call for helping dd's friend's parents to move house. I'm going to busy myself doing a general tidying up and cleaning. I haven't hoovered properly for days. Eeek!

Hey all
I have been for my hair cutting too, leo.
Also managed to do some shopping on the market in town, which was nice. Bought allsorts I probably didn't need LOL
Simply I swept my hall today - eek from me too!
I have three loads of washing waiting to be dried! LOL and lots more to go on. This rain is annoying!
StAnne hope it goes well at new school. Sure it's for the best
swan my to do list probably SHOULD look like yours, but doesn't as I am deliberately ignoring most things! Trying to be more chilled!
Right, need to print some stuff out (after creating it in Word first), tidy up and do some potatoes for oven chips. We are decorating the tree tonight after school. DH has erected it and put the lights on. I am cracking open the mulled wine, putting the Xmas music on and off we go! LOL
See you all tomorrow lovelies.

Just dropped off little bear at new school a bit clingy but Teacher sort of bustled me out with 'Yes picking up time is 3.25pm we will see you later!' I'm sure it was the right thing to do. Head of old school lovely too. Think I'm going to keep in touch with a few Mums & kids they are so nice.
Well on a Christmas note my gingerbread house biscuit cutters arrived today. Will try and make them during the early part of the week.
Now must figure out various things for the next two weeks.
Leo I get my eyebrows threaded after many many year plucking them myself mainly because I can't pluck them with glasses on!!!!

Back from various events, joyous but knackered

Today was basically a ballsup on many levels but somehow I managed to survive, ds1 did loads and loads of walking on his crutches (physio very pleased with his progress), and I got through the dreaded Xmas Fayre and mulled wine production.
Children had a fantastic time running amok, School Santa seems to be toned down this year and cheaper, and I am now eating loads of stollen before dh brings home a takeaway for us all..as didn't manage even a fairy cake at the fayre.

Oh and didn't do hardly anything on my list, felt better for admitting those were the things I NEEDED TO DO though rather than pretend they weren't there.
[umm - suppose I will have to do them eventually]

Just had to stop computing to order the takeaway so dh could pick it up DONE

Starbear - hope ds warmed to new school - maybe he'll be a bit nervous at first but that would be normal.
Wendy - sounds blissful
Leo - is your run in the morning or evening and for how long?

Report
wendyhappysmile · 11/12/2009 19:16

swan wasn't blissful of course, never is where children are involved! Ended up shouting at children a lot for standing on baubles, fighting over tinsel, nearly knocking over the tree etc etc LOL

Oh!TM What can I say only thank god you have a lovely FiL. Go ahead cry I do all the time I think it stops me having a breakdown. AND I don't care who sees me crying either it just means I'm human.
Just back from Babysitting for friends. Got DS out of their spare bed, back into the car 10 mins down the road and he's back in bed snug as a bug in a rug. DH not home yet!!!
