Sigh...... i miss tesco so much... have just moved into a new build home and our address does not appear on their database - so we cant have our usual bi weekly delivery from them, have used Asda delivery today for the first and last time ever - No washing powder, no chicken fillets,so bang goes tonights dinner of coq au vin and instead of my order of SMA Gold for my 6wk old daughter they substituted SMA follow on!! How thick??!

Oh and they charged me for the items they didnt deliver

Oh Tesco.... please put my address on your database before i lose my mind!!!!!!

mummymorgan - I'd ring 'em up. We've had food delivered to holiday homes before that haven't shown up on their database. They've always been really helpful.

I had that last week, I kept saying to the driver 'Are you sure that is all? No substitutions?'

And it was a fiver cheaper than the estimate because they had chosen the weighed stuff properly.

It was too good to be true as the eggs only had 5 days left, but hey ho...

I think it depends where you live and when you order. I had one every week on a Friday night between 7-9pm.

We rarely had substitutions in the 3 years we did this, I think maybe they were picked just after the shelves were stocked and stored.

yomellamoHelly thanks for the tip, will give them a call, on further inspection I am really not happy with the quality of Asda's fresh meat and produce either, and the whole baby milk mix up has really gotten up my nose - all in all asda are refunding a grand total of £29.87 out of an £80 shop, never ever had this malarkey with Tesco!!

I always find that doing an order for first thing in the morning and nearly always managed to get everything on the order and if any subs then they were sensible.

My last order was 30 minutes late. I had selected no substituions..........
they substitued a JD gift set for a different one
