Hi all.

Still school for dd1 here. DD2 at home with me so we've been to the park this morning and then she had a nap (unheard of) so i've tidied my hallway, got a huge box for everyone to keep their shoes in (as opposed to all over floor) and I've picked up all the bits and bobs in the living room and dumped them in a pile ready to be rehomed. She's up now so having lunch in front of Mr Tumble (sky+ loads of episodes)

Why do the children always pick the days you've got loads to do and are already tired on top of that to be little shits terrors?
They have been screeching/screaming all bloody day.
I have managed to get most things done though, just not been easy!

If I don't get back on later, have a good week and I shall be back next tues/weds. xxx

Cleaned bathroom
Tidied kitchen
tidied some things on landing

Swimming
Park
Made some coil pots with dts
They are all playing very nicely with toy animals in garden with dd's friend
ds1 is gettng a bit bored, and is now dssing

A v. good day really and fighting has stopped since setting off for pool, which is most important thing.

So I think my holiday routine is going to be get out of house ASAP in morning, clean and potter in afternoon when children are refreshed and worn out.

Sorry LBB, I know that feelng well.
Hope you can get out tomorrow now that everything's done, well done for strugglng through.

I hate getting ready, I feel completely spooked and panicked by it, and justkeep thinking of more and more things that need puttng in order before I go, must be the reason I am so relieved not to have gone on holiday last week. But Lowestoft sounds completely lovely, and so it will be worth it.

littleboyblue · 20/07/2009 18:01

Thanks swan I have really yelled at ds1 today which is awful seeing as he isn't quite 2 yet
Oh well, we'll both get over it. Was only yesterday I told dp I didn't want him to yell at ds's as I think there are more positive and effective ways of discipline. Just hard to remember that when the bounderies are being repeatedly pushed isn't it?

hi Wendy - glad house is a pleasure thanks to all your hard work
TPT, perhaps themed - Roman, Tintin, HP?
linked with curriculum even, that be useful
could you do a trial run in hols with a small group of kids?
Do you have to write a script?
Anyway sounds like a commercial project to me, could be £ in it...

Hello to all. Just a quickie from me.

Sorry to hear your sad news galen.

It is nearly bed time so I'm going to start packing for the hols. I'm sure that'll soon become tedious and I'll be glad to get to bed instead of continuing.

Nos da pawb.

wendy I find that my place needs a little refreshing too, so although I do a full home blessing on a monday, I do room rescues on a thursday which can include anything from a quick tidy away to wiping walls and hoovering. All depends, but I've found it keeps the place fresh for the weekend.

See you all in a week
