Help! My cat has weed on my carpet, next to radiator and whole house stinks!

So far have tried:

scrubbing with hot water and soap and teeny bit of bleach
carpet cleaning machine
baking powder
Zoflora disinfectant

It STILL stinks!!

Any other ideas?

Biological washing powder dissolved in boiling water then cooled and swabbed over the area works

Oh and apparently don't use bleach, makes it worse.

You are welcome, it's the enzymes in washing powder. Yes bleach does make it worse because bleach contains ammonia as does cat wee so you are fairy efficiently accelerating the spread of the wee by using bleach but washing powder eats the pheremones so the smell goes.

Has the cat done it again, they often revisit the spot if it still smells. Or did the heating come on and reinvigorate it? You do need to do the biological washing powder thing again. Make sure you also do the radiator, it's probably lurking behind it and if the cat can sniff it out, the cat will piddle there every single day (I speak from experience unfortunately).
