I don't think much flying will get done here today.
DD has hospital this morning, luckily DP has taken the day off so I can stay home with DS, who just wants lots of cuddles.
I think i'm going to get another cuppa and have a game of suduko on facebook.

Morning Shanna

We were up at silly o'clock like you too. It seems we are just surviving on glipses of sleep.

I have DS1's bedding in the wash (accident again)
Porridge is cooling
Morning routine complete

I am going to have 10 mins on here and then feeding time at the zoo. We are off to soft play - as yes you guessed it rain

Morning Everyone!!
Shannara poor you, I hope you are having a lie-in.
TMH at least you will always have the memory of that lovely sleep on Tuesday.
Is DS2 still improving?
Ruby hope you are feeling better today and didn't shut that annoying boy in a cupboard.

Didn't manage to get on here last night, but did do my walk/run on the way home, but then had bath and dins and was too tired for computer.

We have our outlaws today, so will be away most of the day.

Cafe I just wanted to say that I'm on day 23 (or something) and you do build up the routine that suits you. You are supposed to do a baby step a day, just to get used to everything and not get overwhelmed. I think on about day 10, I actually felt I was struggling, because I was still doing my old stuff and the new routines, but that's past now. I'm still a Fly Baby like you though, so you are not alone.
I fully intend to do the Baby steps again when I ever finish, to really internalise the methods and philosophy.

Morning
Hotspots 6 mins
Swish and Swipe bathroom 5mins
Kitchen rescue 5 mins

Hi
I survived the outlaws visit (although they are still here with no signs of leaving yet) I feel a bit bad for moaning yesterday because they took the children into town for a couple of hours, bought us tea and wine, cleared up after, and got up with the children this morning so we got a lie in! They still wind me up though!
Rowingboat - hope your outlaws are ok today.
I haven't done a list yet as I have no clue what time I will be left in peace!

Morning everyone!
Thanks for the words of support Rowing Boat...even though im only on day 3...ive actually got a bit of a routine going already ( I think its because ive been forced to look at what needs doing and prioritise- if that makes sense) Ive decided im going to concentrate on things that need doing now and not get too bogged down with things ive been putting off for ages ie. the tip that is called the spare room! Im hoping i'll be able to deal with that in due course. Its early days!

Morning all

wow Shanna hope you're not too knackered being up at that time and both dc's are ok!

Mad enjoy soft play, hope you're feeling a bit better

rowingboat hope outlaws are not too much like hard work today

ruby have a good party, i love partying! especially pass the parcel n treaure hunt games

rupert sounds like you had an alright day yesterday, and a lie in today!! i love it when mil does things like that for us

cafebistro i gave up on babysteps, partly because oh laughed at me and partly because I already had a morning routine going and that's as far as I got. Instead, I sorted out an evening routine and use this thread to keep track of what's actually getting done (or not, depending how much time i spend playing on t'internet )

well, i've only been up 45 mins as lo slept in for a change so we've just had brekky and got washed and dressed. Oh is still snoring while I entertain, play on here and think about what needs doing.

to do today, in no particular order

~make biccys
~strip lo's bed
~brekky pots
~quick tidy bathroom
~find a carpet cleaner that doesn't cost the earth
~small top-up shopping list for mil to take to asda
~list of things to get from town
~ring landlords agent about new tenancy agreement
~dust living room
~weekly budget when lo is in bed
~ebay crib and wardrobe set
~investigate cloth nappies a bit more
~work out if it'd be worth buying a yoghurt maker
~make fish pie for tea time

so, I'm off to make a start with brekky pots and a motivational cuppa while lo's watching In The Night Garden. Have a fab day all xx

Morning all

Blimey - day 31 of babysteps. Can't believe I've finished them!

cafebistro do keep plugging along with babysteps. I've really forced my way through the babysteps but things are starting to look better in my house. (My aim is to get the house under control before DD starts crawling.) Not everything is working perfectly for me yet and a lot of the time the morning routine takes all day (depends how co-operative DD is being!), but generally, flying has really really really helped.

Anyway, today:

To do:
DD fed, washed and dressed - done
Laundry - needs to be hung on line
Breakfast washing up - done
Clean out cat litter trays - done
Bins out - done
Hot spots
5 minute room rescue - done
15 minutes decluttering
Clean bathroom
Mop bathroom floor
Mop kitchen floor
Sort out holiday insurance - done

Well, my list's getting shorter, only a couple of things left to do then I'm going to potter without a list for a couple of hours as I manage to get quite a few bits done when I just wander sometimes.

~make biccys done
~strip lo's bed doing now
~brekky pots done
~quick tidy bathroom done
~find a carpet cleaner that doesn't cost the earth done £18.99 in argos
~small top-up shopping list for mil to take to asda done

~work out if it'd be worth buying a yoghurt maker done but i can't decide whether it'd just be a fad or would get some use out of it
~make fish pie for tea timedone

off to strip lo's bed in a mo and then sit down with oh and work out if we can realistically afford to buy some cloth nappies for lo.

hope you're all having a good day, it's lovely here with the sun out again. Just got to decide what to do tomorrow as no doubt it will rain and we were going to take lo out for the day

Afternoon all

We had a great time at soft play and the boys were really well behaved.

We have done the shopping and put it away.

I have just looked and DS1 is asleep on the sofa in the conservatory.

FLy wise.

I have managed to put the washer on again and the dryer going too.

When DH gets in I need to do a couple of room rescues and some ironing.

Mission is done

DS2 is still snotty, but I think is on the mend

Sleep what is sleep - nevermind I love them both heaps
