i would wash it at home and then take it to laundrette to tumble

i used to do that when i was a student and had zero room to hang stuff

I find the maximum number of loads without going mad is 2 (one in the morning, hang out to dry before leaving for work, one in the evening, hangout to dry overnight). Guess you probably generate a load of washing a day with your dcs etc. So 10 days of 2 loads a day and you will be back to normal. If i were you i would just aim for this and not try to get it all done as quickly as possible.
