place is a mess, need a wee thread to motivate.

I know I will probably end up talking to myself. Had a bad few days. Am a former slattern - very bad bad bad. Have turned it all around but last few days its slipping.

so tonight I will -

wash dishes
tidy up papers in front room
empty bins
clean work tops

that will do for now

So I will -

Clear the sink
Pick up all the lego
Pick up all the train track etc
Tidy round (so I'm not too depressed in the morning)

Have cleared the sink but just watching Father Ted while I mn and dismantle train track.

Big shock - have now got to sit down and have a cuppa. While clearing lego away, there was a big noise from roof. Ventured outside with a torch and a great big slate has slid down and come to rest in guttering. Bloody hell. Will have to tell dh when he comes back from work that he's got to clamber onto roof and do a repair job. Bet he'll be pleased.

finished dishes now - was more than i thought.

its SO hot here, even thought it wasnt that sunny today its roasting now - hotter than it was in day time

No storms, not even windy! It's been sunny here too, it's still really warm.

The house is really old (400 years) and we do get the odd problem. I just hope the slate isn't damaged because they are unobtainable now, even reclamation yards don't have them anymore. Dh won't be back from work until about 2.00am so I think I'll leave telling him till tomorrow! It'll make his day!!!!!!!

At least the inside of the house is looking tidier
