Aldi shopping.......

I am going on holiday on monday and want to take some food with me. OH thinks I should go to Aldi as it's cheap. How cheap is it really and what is the quality like? For instance big bags of pasta? Wine? cereals etc, mainly store cupboard things. Asda is nearer am I better to go there instead as need bread, milk etc. Thanks

My kids don't like the Rice Krispies or cornflakes from Aldi, but the Weetabix,etc. are great. Quality is generally high for pasta, rice, tinned tomatoes, corn. I do my weekly shop there because the quality is so high. And I LOVE the wine.
