Saucepan set dead

Our saucepans have been slowly dying since we got a dishwasher (despite them apparently being dishwasher safe). They were a wedding gift 8 years ago. Is there anything we can do? We obviously have no receipts anymore but surely they should last for more than 8 years!

Also has anybody for any recommendations for a new set?

How have they "died"?

The dishwasher has removed the coating inside and out despite them claiming to be dishwasher safe. We had them for 6 years and they were in excellent condition before we got a dishwasher. I've contacted the manufacturer as they apparently have a lifetime guarantee.

Circulon. Don't put them in d/w though, just hold under running tap and give them a wipe with a damp cloth, then dry. Takes seconds.

I was using Tefal frying pans which claimed they were dishwasher safe.

After a while, the nonstick gradually stopped working and everything stuck to them.
I replaced them all with the Regis stone pans and even though they too claim to be dishwasher safe,I have always washed them by hand.
They're very easy to clean, anyway.

They still look as good as new.

Now I generally use the dishwasher for crockery and cutlery. Everything else I wash by hand.

I really rate the Scoville Neverstick range. Bought a big pan a few months ago and used it daily. Still like new. Currently on at £40 for a set of 5 in ASDA. I've just bought a set.

Stainless steel wear far better. The only non stick pan we have is Judge milk pan. The other SS pans are 17 years old, have been washed pretty much only in the dishwasher and are still going strong.

I did this to my le creusset - I spoke to customer services and they replaced them all. Lesson learned

Also learned lemon dishwasher tablets the worst and if you stick a pan in the washer re-season it
