Gadgets you cannot do without and can't believe you didn't know about before

Quite recently I bought a motion sensor LED light for the toilet. I'd seen it on wowcher or some similar site, but I bought it elsewhere. It was less than a tenner but it's so frickin brilliant I can't believe it didn't occur to me to look for something like this before!
You stick your batteries in, plonk it on the toilet rim, and your children can get up in the night and manage to wee IN the toilet and not all around the rim and on the floor (yes I have boys) without waking themselves up too much because they have to put the main light on in the bathroom.
(and its useful for DH too)
The batteries ran out recently, and immediately DS1 reverted to 'muuuuuuuum I need the loo' because he didn't want to go in the dark on his own.

Anything else I need to know about?

Silicone egg poachers. Two for a fiver and they've changed my life.

Also, a Joseph Joseph chopping board with a built in knife sharpener. Ace.

A cordless Dyson. It cost silly money but it's so much less hassle to take it out. I'm phenominally lazy and it means the place is hoovered a lot more often.

I wouldn't say I couldn't do without this avocado prep gadget, but it's the best value for a fiver that I've spent recently.
Takes a few seconds to prep an avocado, no mess, no waste.

Yy to Roomba although we got a Vileda cheapie on Amazon. It's great, not quite as efficient as a big hoover but it keeps on top of it.

My DSs had the led toilet lights for Christmas. They have colour changing ones (which are actually really cool). I wouldn't say they're life changing but they do stop them turning on the light which then triggers the extractor fan which then wakes me up since although I'm at the other end of the house I'm a really light sleeper.

Love my fold away Joseph Joseph tri-scales. Ive ditched the bulky scales and now this lives in my knife and fork drawer.

Roomba is also very handy for just keeping on top of things a bit (although you do still need to hoover properly on a regular basis).

This is niche but my God we've got our use from it and it worked out at something like £1 a pizza and they are SO easy and quick to make (we do use another gadget - Bread Maker - for the dough) and taste AMAZING...I've only had pizza this good in Italy www.g3ferrari.net/en/delizia-p47

Total indulgence, paid for itself within a year and great for parties, kids, quick treat!

Omelette maker. I could never manage to cook them without them sticking to the pan. <a class="break-all" href="//www.amazon.co.uk/Quest-Non-Stick-Touch-Omelet-Maker/dp/B00XCHM4C0/ref=sr_1_1?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1486252858&sr=1-1&keywords=omelette%20maker%20quest&tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21" rel="nofollow noindex" target="_blank">This has been life changing and because it is so easy and safe to use, the DC use it too.

I bought a Vileda window vacuum today. I have been doing all the windows. It's very addictive.
