Hi,

I'm a product design student currently in my final year of A levels and am looking to design and make a multifunctional storage solution for children between the ages 3-6. Please could you take 5 minutes to fill out my survey which helps me learn more about my target market. I'll happily welcome any suggestions or questions because the more the better!

The link for the survey is below:

If the above link doesn't work try using the following:

Thank you :)

What an interesting idea - best of luck! I've filled out your survey.

I love the idea of multi-functional furniture eg integrated storage under seating. I always love ideas like that - eg the stairs with hidden drawers under the treads that you can see on Pinterest

@Ifailed

Haha I only just realised I should've worded it differently Grin thank you for completing the survey!

@MakemineaGandT

Thank you for your suggestions. There isn't a lot of multi functional furniture out there at the moment however it is becoming more popular as it's a great way to save space in the home!

I'd want something which has an outer door/cover which suits a grown up living room but can be slid back or flipped around the back to reveal good storage. A mixture or smaller and larger drawers or pull out boxes which can keep a good selection of toys in the living room. The ability to then make the unit look "adult" once the kids have gone to bed would be good.

Done! My DD has a small child size table and chair from Ikea that she uses for drawing / painting. It would be good if it had shelving attached for storage

Done.

Somewhere to store bottles of paint and brushes so it wasn't such a rigmarole to get out/prepared would be good Smile

I'd like there to be a bit of lockable storage as part of it. I don't want my 2 nearly 3 year old to be able to access things like paint/glue etc.
