AAAARRGHHHH! White mould in wardrobe..help me!

Just opened the wardrobe with all my summer stuff/spare coats etc in it. There is white mould all over the side/ back, my lovely leather trench coat is covered in it, my vintage wool trousers are spotted and DPs best shoes are furry!!
I am so pissed off! Angry
What is best to clean it in the wardrobe? (Thinking white vinegar?)
Can I save the clothes?
What can I do to prevent it? We do have condensation issues, but I am trying to air the house more, shall I get a dehumidifier?

Thanks for any help!!

Heat, ventilation and a dehumidifier should all help. Don't dry laundry by hanging it around the house. I'd take everything out of the wardrobe and pull it away from the wall. Look at the wall behind it. Is that mouldy? If so, it needs treating with diluted bleach or a mould removing product. Same with the back of the wardrobe and inside too.

Maybe try those moisture extracting sachets in the wardrobe itself and check and change them regularly.

Get the gutters and the pointing checked in case it's penetrating damp.

Thanks wowfudge!
Bloody stuff drives me up the wall.
Thought I'd been really careful with washing and things but the house must be damper than I realised!

Now I found it I can't leave it, a whole bloody evening is going to be spent cleaning it and saying goodbye to lovely clothes!
My beautiful vintage wool trousers are covered in it!

Ah well, live and learn I guess!

The clothes will be fine if you get them cleaned.
