Can I buy pillow cases with box sides?

I've bought some beautiful new goose down pillows, with box sides, so they're quite deep. I've squashed them into my existing pillow cases, but it's made them feel quite firm as there's not really enough room and the pillows have become compressed, if that makes sense. I've looked on the internet but can't see any pillowcases with box sides, but I'm wondering if anybody else has solved this problem. All help gratefully received.

What about a king sized pillow case? Or are they just longer, and not wider as well?

Hi DorD, I think they're just longer, one description I read was that they will take 2 pillows (which to my mind makes it more like a bolster, but then I am as old as Methuselah and can remember such things).

I wasn't really expecting the new pillows to be so bulky, my old goose down one is pretty thin, but beautifully soft, so it's rather taken me by surprise. I bought them from Soak&Sleep, used to be Duvet & Pillow Warehouse, so might give them a call on Monday to see if they have a solution, if the collected wisdom of MN can't solve it.

I found large pillowcases at Dunelm Mills which fit my box pillows ok widthways but are an annoying 6 inches too long. If you get the perfect solution please update us!

Thanks for that, Meg, there's a Dunelm recently opened about ten minutes away, so I'll take myself off there and investigate.

There's clearly a gap in the market, it can't just be we two that are looking, can it. And yes, if I do find the perfect solution, I'll be sure to spread the news.
