Less reading more doing...

Morning all,
As I sat in bed this morning reading through my favourite area of mumsnet I was thinking maybe I should spend less time reading and more time doing. Thanks to you lovely ladies I have a wealth of information stored in my brain, I know how to treat stains and precisely which dishwasher I'm going to invest in however, I have a laundry which needs taking out and bedding waiting to be stripped. I love reading about how clean and tidy everyone else's homes are and picturing myself with the perfect cleaning routine but one moment I must read this very important post about limescale!!
Anyone else?
(Off to empty machine!!)

Yes me

I also start threads, list things to do and then bugger off and don't do them

Oops

This is the problem with MN. I spend way too much time planning and no time doing.

Me too. I seem to think that by reading about other peep's thoroughly good habits will, by telepathy, have the same effect on this house with no effort on my part.

How wrong I am but I still love reading how to get stains out Grin

Well today I have given older dcs room a good tidy

They do their version of tidying when asked but every now and then it needs a proper sorting out

Will strip and wash their bedding tomorrow and rehoover I think

Oh yes, this is me. I read all about it, think motivating thoughts, plan in my head and then do .......... Precisely nothing.

I must get off my arse.
