Is Aldi washing up liquid good?

I don't usually shop in Aldi but was googling to find something better than the washing up liquid I've been using (own brand), and their name came up as top!

I've only ever found Fairy to be any good but apparently they out rank them?

I might pay Aldi a visit as I like shopping their when I do, prefer Lidl and Morrisons if I'm honest, but if the washing up liquid's good it'll be worth a visit. Plus they have battered haggis

Yes, it's much better than Fairy which is too strong & reacts with my skin.

My mum buys it & she could afford to shop at Harrods if she wished. She chooses to shop at Aldi.

It works but stinks like bathroom cleaner, really strong and unpleasant after a while. Back to Tesco's own make for me.

I hear Aldi's referred to as a 'discounter' store.

Surely that's rubbish? Waitrose and Tesco et al should be referred to as the 'inflator' stores.

I think it's really good. We have tried other brands than fairy and always gone back definitely as good, the smell isn't quite as nice as fairy but I can ignore it for the price.

Why don't you wear washing up gloves? I never wash up with bare hands because my hands are so dry. Using gloves means I can have the water hotter as well.

I find that the Aldi PREMIUM washing up liquid (which comes in a small bottle) is good. The other variations which can come in bigger bottles are not great.

I find it much better for sensetive skin as most others make my skin flare up. It's a really good washing up liquid too :) I've only ever used the original one as scented ones are no good for my skin either.

DeePancrisPandevenistaken Haha...I'll second that. Always shop at Aldi myself but am always a little hmmm about their cleaning products...may give it a go. I've recently changed my baby milk to avoid going to the other (shudders) supermarkets each week. These feet may never step through those doors again :)

Also my washing up liquid both at home & at work doubles up as a work top cleaner & hand wash.

Yes, its excellent. Cheap and lasts forever. Washing powder tabs are fine too.

I like Asda own brand washing up liquid. The honey flavoured one. 59p and it's as good as Fairy.

It used to be really good, but not strong enough now. I think using anything other than fairy is a false economy

They've changed the formula though as well as the smell and it's not quite as good as it was , or as cheap. I've gone back to Fairy as you can get two large bottles for £2 from Lidl which lasts for weeks and weeks

No - I don't think so, I tried it recently and went back to Fairy (which I decant into the traditional bottles that were issued in Jubilee Year - sad person that I am ).
