Dull thread alert - warmest slippers ever required

It is not winter but my feet are like blocks of ice, I need serious slipper warmth at a very reasonable price, style not a factor, warmth essential.

Boots ones are much warmer. I got some in Sainsburys last week that are too warm to wear at the moment, and my feet are usually very cold. I've put them to one side until the truly cold weather starts. They're navy, sort of fake sheepskin look, and come quite high up over my ankle.

I've got bedroom athletics ones, good quality and very cosy, cosy toes are important! Grin

I have the ones Shatners is talking about and they are so warm. Definitely better than any other slippers I have had.

oh my word, cannot believe I have replies in totally the wrong subject, thank you to all.

I have a sainsbury near me, can you narrow the slippers down for me, price guide, link?

Nordikas would probably be ideal but cannot afford pricey #noheatingformethiswinter

I have real sheepskin ones that I got in TK Maxx last year, they're soooooo cosy.

I have had sheepskin mules for years now since I got given ugg slippers as a pressie from Oz and then replaced with Just Sheepskin. So cosy, bit pricy butt last ages.

Matalan are doing fleecy boots ones for £10ish.

Boots are much better than normal slippers.

You can get cashback from topcashback for matalan, it's only 4% but over the year it all adds up.

Are you eligible for the warm home discount? Each provider has slightly different criteria so you have to ring them to discuss it. It gives £140 off a year which is better than nothing.

no idea about matalan cashback or warm home discount, will look into it, thank you

these things are ridiculously warm and you can sometimes get them in last years colour at a much better price at Blacks/Go Outdoors type shops or try ebay.

They're like little sleeping bags for your feet Smile

no, no, no! you must get yourself a pair of camper brand felt slippers. I am on my 2nd pair and will never buy anything else. They have a grippy outdoor worthy sole and are warm enough for winter but don't make feet sweat in summer.

We also have fleece lined Crocs cosy Smile They are very warm though! We've had them a year and they look new.

They're not very cheap Smattering at full price, I think they're around £35, however Crocs often have a lot of sales on in store and in shops, they also give new customer voucher codes and usually have some sort of cashback and/or voucher offer on Quidco. That's what we did. Also you might find some on eBay or similar. We have the Blitzen clogs. You can remove the fleece liner to wash it which I prefer to regular slippers, and they're very sturdy if you want to pop out to the bins, garden... or shops, as I did once without realising.

Shepherd slippers are absolutely brilliant. I had the same problem as you until I discovered these!
