Musty smell in pram, how to clean it?

I've just got my pram out of the garage in preparation for the arrival of dc2, I had to throw away the footmuff because it had been used as a mouse hotel, with big holes chewed in it, but luckily the fabric part of the pram seat is unharmed. I scrubbed it yesterday with some washing powder in hot water, and left it outside to dry, but it still has a horrible musty smell. What can I use to get it smelling fresh? I thought maybe Bicarbonate of soda? Any other suggestions?

Yes Bicarb and leave out in sunshine as long as possible.

Well I tried bicarb, and left it out all day yesterday in the sun, still think it smells a bit though but will wait until it's completely dry and see if the smell is still there.
