Do you pay someone to clean your oven?

And if so, how much does it cost?

I'm trying to gather quotes and don't really know what's reasonable.

Its an electric oven, two years old, medium usage (about three times a week) with a roast twice a month. It isn't too bad but needs doing...

oooh, I did. Think it was around £70,but it looked like new after.
Saved me a fortune really as it was an expensive double oven only about 3 years old that I was then able to recycle into my brand new kitchen.

No!
Never realised you could until I joined MN.

Never quite worked out why ovens need more than any spilt grease wiping off. Any burnt crud is dead.

No I'm too skint miserly. Whole can of Mr Muscle Oven sprayed into oven, leave for 24hrs and wipe.
If the hob and oven need doing together then use I Oven pride instead and use the bag for the shelves and removable hob bits.

I think mine was £50 for a double oven. It took the bloke a couple of hours and looked like new afterwards. It was about 6 years old and hadn't been deep cleaned in that time Blush.

Yep, and until I did I had no idea it had a light.

Had this done last week by Ovenu, £69 for an electric cooker (main oven, grill/oven above and hob). Took 2 hours and came up as new.

Mine was £70. Oven looked like new afterwards. Will do it once a year.

Best £50 you'll ever spend. I would happily marry Mr Moon from Ovenclean.

£60 by Oven-u-Clean. Always have it done for Christmas.

Lovely stuff thank you. I've been quoted £44 which seems reasonable.

I paid £40 and was really disappointed. I'd try again but not with the same grumpy man

£40 by company oven dazzle - amazing and worth every penny, will never do it myself again.
