Hi all,
I have 1970s (I think) electric hot air central heating. Creda Comfortaire.
There are 3 switches in the kitchen that we turn on and the storage heater heats up over night on economy 7. Not entirely sure what they do but the previous owner of the house left a postit saying all 3 needed to be on for the heating.
The storage heater itself has two dials one for the fan (normal, off, high, night store & day boost), and one (I think) for the amount of storage (cold, mod, mild, very cold).
The living room has a thermostat without markings but it seems to control the heating.
Any ideas/knowledge about the most energy efficient way to run this beast? Do I choose a temperature to heat it overnight depending on how cold I think it will be? etc.
Thanks.
