Have you tried wiping it over with bleach (diluted with water?)
If you're worried that the colour will ruin, try baby wipes.

Method Lavender multi-surface cleaner is really good for shifting mould and mildew and it smells much lovelier than bleach.

Nancerama - is method the brand name of the cleaner? Never heard of it and have a friend a work who is having trouble with mould, will mention that to her. Thanks.

Yes, it's a brand of Eco friendly cleaning stuff. It's a bit expensive, but worth it. Is smells beautiful!

I use it to wipe my mildewy bathroom ceiling.

You can always cut the bottom off and restitch, if that's where the mould is.

Dunno what kind of material it is made of but a bucket of diluted Milton made a great job of my vertical material blinds a few years ago!

Dettol mould and mildew spray in a green bottle. Has worked brilliantly for me where other products failed.
