Removing mould from freezer seal

The seal around the freezer has black mould on it, I was going to use a weak bleach solution & a toothbrush or perhaps the steamer on it but worried either may damage it. Any ideas? TIA

The steamer might melt the plastic

I'd try a 'kitchen spray with bleach' but rinse and wipe away all traces after cleaning.

The plastic might be stained permanently.

btw I do mine with washing up liquid on a sponge, but it sounds like yours is unusually bad?

Dettol Mould remover spray works well. Make sure you keep it aimed away from food. It's strong stuff.

^ I second that, its fantastic stuff and can be used for anything for cleaning pvc to buggys that have gone damp and mouldy. Just ventilate and wear something old when using it as it bleaches stuff and is quite strong smelling.

Thank you will use that.
piglet - it is bad in places, I have been looking at it for months wondering what to use & of course in the mean time it has gone much worse Blush
