mix-up over PE clothes here - cue frantic cutting up of an old pair of trousers!
I don't know who is more frightened of detention, Ds1 or meBlush
Dh spent hours with him yesterday drawing a chippendale gladiator for homework. Enjoy Primary ladies, please...

lots to do today, mostly playroom clutter and gardening.

I am going to start a pilates class next week on a Tuesday morning. I have never done anything like this before, so am a little scared!

EV I have projects just no mojo!

evening all

thanks to df it's been a pretty shitty day. I will now have to drive ds over to my parents each morning so they can bring him back here an hour later for school (we live 10 yards from the school gate) which is just going to mean more stress and disruption for ds, with which he does not cope well, plus me having to get up even earlier to get everything together and everyone out the door in time to accommodate the drive to my parents. I've already been getting up 20 minutes earlier to make going to school work, I'm now looking at a 5.40 wake up call. Sad Angry

Could your parents be bribed to come early two mornings a week? Surely it makes no difference to them whether they come at 8.30 or 7.30...or perhaps not early risers [put head above parapet]

Sounds awful. Could you do combination of breakfast club and small adjustment of workign hours even? Or local CM? Surely your parents want ds to have smooth start?

Ds2 causing tears and stress here, in his own sweet way Sad Ds1 managing well. Poor dd I really haven't paid much attention to her recently...Yesterday she and her friend produced a batch of fairy cakes, iced and decorated, ENTIRELY by themselves. Okay I took them out of the oven (they forgot that part) Packet mix! Magic!

okay, must go and converse with children
Mad Pilates sounds good. I always worrie dit would be full of people who knew what they were doing, which I didn't, like yoga, but I'm sure it's not. My back is giving up on me recently, so I need to find something to sort it out exercise wise.
