I have mine upstairs in bedroom (no room in bathroom). Just curious really where other people keep theirs.

One on kids' landing, one in our bedroom, main one that everything gets cleared down into in front hallway. I spend a lot of my life carting washing up and down stairs.

i have a laundry bin in the bathroom.

Seeing that it is usually the first place people go to in the morning and the last at night it makes sense to be there.

In DS's room. It's a wooden one with a seat on top. I need one for my room too

Ensuite bathroom (one laundry bin) I also sort it into piles on the bathroom floor when I am doing some washing and then carry it down one load at a time - so no piles of laundry in the kitchen.

On the landing. Its huge so its ok there

In our bedrooms. Ds's stuff gets chucked in the nearest one or in the machine or the retired nappy bucket under the kitchen table.
Once he and dn are old enough not to empty a laundry bin faster than it's filled, we'll have one on the landing.
Bathroom is 8x5' so no room for one.

In the bedrooms, though the one in the DSs room is purely ornamental Hmm

Trofast on the landing with drawers for whites, delicates, darks and coloureds.
Just outside DD's door so she can throw her stuff in easily when she's undressing (in theory anyway).
