What colour curtains to go with turquoise carpet and white walls? Ideas needed.

Am struggling to know what curtains would go well with this colour carpet. Something with white background or colour. The carpet is quite dark. We also want hot pink in the room also. Any ideas?

The key is less is more so pick one or two colours and use them well. Black or brown silk curtains with a hot pink/turquoise design, multi-coloured frames, silver edged mirror, sumptuous fluffy rug and cushions in white and plain designed lamps can all look good with turquoise. Dark wooden furniture works well with most colours and the contrast looks nice.

Black would look cool in a modern setting, not so good in a farmhouse. Nothing too fussy, not patterned.

Something with silver in it, a lot or a little. Will work well with pink also

Good ideas. Yes think fuschia/turquoise/white. Actually really nice together. And yes young girl's room.

Sounds gorgeous! Cherry and turquoise are my two favorite colors. Maybe you can find some drapes with a white background with a circle design in turquoise, with just possibly a bit of pink in the design. I'm in U.S. and JC Penney has good looking drapes, it is jcp.com.

We bought a house 3 years ago with carpets either gray or a soft turquoise green. I have plaid drapes in that same muted turquoise, look like satin and are washable. Not that I have yet.

In a girl's room, I'd like something sheer and breezy, maybe w blind for privacy.

I got a blind for DD from www.kidscurtaincompany.co.uk, they have a really good selection of fabrics and will send samples. Just don't do what we did and choose a sample but take ages to order the blind, only to find that fabric was discontinued! The one we got instead we are pleased with though.
