What do you always forget/overlook to clean?

Help me out here! I work p/time and have two littlies so can just about keep the house on the right side of "clean" i.e kitchen/bathroom clean and floors mopped/vacuumed.

However, typically just after a visitor (or MIL!) has arrived I normally notice something really manky. Like a dirty hand print at toddler height on door, smear on mirror etc. Things I may not notice or clean on a regular basis.

So, I want to compile a list of all the things I might be missing and then add them to a spring/autumn clean so at least they get done once in a while. Or at least before visitors arrive Wink

dusting down the side of the stairs is mine
think because it's such a quick job (just use a baby wipe as I walk down anyway) it never seems important, so I never get round to it!

Ah yes, its like a light bulb moment!

Yes I def need to do:
*down side of stairs AND bannisters (noticed marks on these the other day)
*Behind/under sofa cushions
*extractor fan (but not sure how to)
*light shades (and bulbs!) are dusty
*backs (and probably fronts) of radiators

Only wants one - I have the questionable joy of a cream kitchen, it shows every mark regardless of light so the doors pretty often.

I will add to my own list:
*door handles
*skirting boards
*wash posh never used wine glasses on kitchen shelf and dust shelf.
