Hamper gift for beginner home schooler

I know someone who is taking her children (girls between 8-11) out of school from Christmas for the rest of the academic year and temporarily home schooling them. I want to give her a gift related to this at Christmas and was thinking of a "home school survival kit" type thing. Budget probably around £20- £30.
Any idea of what would be great to include and what would be useful/Well received in the months ahead?

Lovely idea.
Can you run to tickets for a visit somewhere?
A travelmug (always on the go) or a flask and some nice tea/coffee. Perhaps add a book, something of outdoorsy stuff or a collection of read aloud stories, I have too many good ones to list. Or a trail from Treasure Trails.

Unless they particularly dislike arts and crafts, supplies for that are likely to hit the mark. Do you see them often enough to be aware of what they already have? I am thinking of things like modelling clay, nice paintbrushes or pens, origami paper, sketchbook, stickers.
