Can anyone tell me what they have used & whether it was any good? I don't personally use a curriculum approach but a friend would like suggestions & is currently off-line:) Thanks.

Are you looking for how to teach grammar/structure/vocabulary/spelling or how to encourage writing or a list of creative writing topics?

Just the composition/creative part not grammar/spelling etc so y'know things like story writing, poetry writing and also non-fiction like newspaper reports or adverts and so forth.

Does anyone use anything for this? A particular book? A curriculum? I personally google stuff and work on composition as it naturally comes up (eg when they need to write a letter) & my daughter writes her own books. I think my friend is looking for some ideas covering all types of writing perhaps all in the one book or maybe online course?

We've used Evan Moor and DS2 seemed to enjoy it Evan Moor. We have also used Writing with Skill from Peace Hill Press and Writing Strands. The later books in Writing Strands are not as good but we enjoyed the earlier ones.
