advice on how fitting in everything

I mean some formal work,trips out,working on projects,housework,cooking,exercising,worship....aaaRrghhh who can make me a (loose) schedule?

I would prioritise the stuff that feeds your soul - for me that would be trips out (during which the messy house gets no worse, and which can easily also provide exercise for all) and some form of communion with the divine.

Allow for lots of play time. Enlist cleaning help when the clutter begins to get in the way of playing.

After a month, have a think about the conversations you've had, the trips you've taken, the activities the children have chosen to do. If at that point it seems to you and the children that some formal sit down learning would be a useful addition, that's the moment to introduce it IMO.

If your family happily eat that way, then a slow cooker is a godsend. Or a slow roast chicken or something - minimal cooking faff. You may well find the children want to be involved in cooking too, so just let the conversation flow while you are shelling peas together.

When u find better to do sit down work?am?pm?when do u fit in housework?and me/quiet time?dcs quite young so not going to be too autonomous writing etc

We don't do any formal sit down work at all. And then there'll be a day when a child wants to do writing/drawing/painting/crafting/whatever for 3 hours at a time. I just follow the children's lead.

Housework - I'm a bit of a slattern. But between us we keep the kitchen and bathrooms hygenic, and we hoover every so often :)

quiet time - when children are busy on computer, or when they are asleep, or when the other parent is in charge of them.
