On Monday in the House of Commons, MP Graham Stuart asked the Minister Nick Gibb
about funding for college places when children were home-educated.
Early yesterday morning the Select Committee chaired by Graham Stuart published
its Report on 16-19 Participation in light of the school leaving age being
raised and EMA being scrapped. In passing, the MPs' Report noted that it was
difficult for home educated children to take exams as private candidates.
