Dining chair ideas

We have this oak dining table

and we need to replace the chairs. Ideally I'd like something quite retro with padded chairs (DH requirement) and mid-price ranged

Thanks! I think the patchwork is a bold colour too far but the white ones are nice. Think the pale wood not quite right though.

Have you considered Stockholm chair at Ikea? £115 so might be over budget.
