Living room help

Hi everyone, I could really do with some advice please on my living room. A few months ago I bought the French connection brown leather couch and decided to wait a while to see if inspiration struck re rug and art work to pull living room together - no luck however. Any advice on rug / artwork etc to ‘finish’ room would be much appreciated!

Love the sofa.
Are you looking to redecorate or just tweak it? I'd go for a big, colourful print or painting on the wall opposite the TV unit. Same sort of size as your Pride and Prejudice one but with some colour. Or put P&P print in the adult section and some big bright painting, framed posters or photos in the play area to create very distinct zones.

Try a thick, textured rug under the coffee table and a chunky, soft throw on the sofa, maybe in nea=utral adult colours, to distinguish that side of the room as different from the play room area.

All the toys in the play area are big so I'm not sure they need storage, butyou could choose a big colourful rug for that area to define it as playroom

Just tweak it, my pride and joy is in the playroom half ... my bookcase. We are planning on building an extension in 24 months time and the room will no longer exist so I just need some finishing touches, the couch is incredibly comfy - i’m just out of ideas
